Some things are worth saying.

There are people in our lives
who probably know
we love them.

Probably.
Sometimes probably isn't quite good enough.

WHO NEEDS TO HEAR FROM YOU?

Some things we assume people know. Some things they deserve to hear.

Maybe there is someone you love, admire, appreciate, miss, owe, forgive, understand differently now, or simply see more clearly than you once did.

What do they deserve to hear from you?

You do not need me to do that.

Write a note. Make a phone call. Send a text. Say it badly if necessary. Just say it.

Twelve things worth saying

  • Who believed in you before there was much evidence that they should?
  • Who taught you something years after they thought their teaching was finished?
  • Whose parenting has taught you something about love?
  • Who did something small for you that you have remembered for years?
  • Who has a quality you deeply admire but have never actually named to them?
  • Who made you feel safe at a time when you needed it?
  • Whose example changed the way you treat other people?
  • Who do you understand differently now than you did when you were younger?
  • Who deserves to know that something they did mattered more than they realized?
  • Who should hear that you noticed?
  • Who would be surprised to learn how important they have been in your life?
  • What lovely thing might someday be said about someone you love that they deserve the privilege of hearing now?

Having trouble finding the words?

That is something I happen to know how to help with.

Tell me who the person is, why they matter to you, and what you are trying to say. I'll help you shape the thought until it sounds like you — not like something somebody wrote for a greeting card.

Then we'll meet online. I'll record you saying it. We can do it several times, without pressure, until there is one that feels right.

I'll turn it into a simple private video you can send to the person who needs to hear it — and they can keep it.

$35

No fundraiser. No donation. You get something worthwhile for your $35.

SAY SOMETHING WORTH SAYING — $35

Or give someone else the chance to say something worth saying.

If you know someone who has something in their heart they would love to say — to a child, parent, grandparent, teacher, student, mentor, friend or anyone else who matters — you can give them this experience.

Someone who loves you has given you an invitation to say something worth saying.

GIVE A WORTH SAYING MESSAGE — $35

And if reading these ideas suddenly gives you a whole list of people you want to talk to, don't start multiplying $35 in your head.

Tell me what you're imagining. We'll figure something out.

TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE THINKING

Why 72?

My car has nearly a quarter-million miles on it. It now needs a transmission and some other serious attention — about $2,500 worth.

There was a time when something like that happened and I'd call one of my corporate clients, scare up a project we both knew would do them some good, and make it rain.

These days, most of those people have retired. But I haven't.

So I wondered whether I could solve the problem by doing something I love and am rather good at — helping people say important things to people who matter to them.

At $35 each, 72 Worth Saying messages come to $2,520.

If I can help 72 people say something that matters to somebody who matters, the car gets fixed.

That seems considerably more interesting to me than a GoFundMe.

The car is why I'm doing this now. It isn't why the work matters.

Some things are worth saying.
And bear repeating.

Who needs to hear from you?

SAY IT WHILE IT CAN STILL BE HEARD
